MC – Sinead Ryan

 Journalist | Broadcaster

Sinead has worked as a print and broadcast journalist for 20 years writing on consumer, property and personal finance matters for the Irish Independent. Sinead also presents 'The Home Show' on Newstalk on Saturday mornings.

She is an experienced MC, conference host, interviewer and keynote speaker, mainly on business and financial topics, including pensions.

Prior to her media career, Sinead worked for over a decade in financial services after qualifying as a financial adviser. She also holds diplomas in Journalism and Economics.

 

Charlie Weston

Personal Finance Editor - Irish Independent

Charlie campaigns on consumer issues, focusing on variable mortgage rates, credit unions and high motor insurance premiums.

He was first to expose the tracker mortgage scandal.

Charlie was honoured with an Outstanding Achievement Award at the annual Business Journalists’ Association and Smurfit Business School journalism awards in 2016.

 

Marian Ryan

Marian Ryan, has over 12 years’ experience advising individuals and corporates on tax compliance to individuals and companies, both domestically and globally.

Marian specialises in Irish taxation and has significant experience in both employment taxes and compensation and benefits, working with diverse clients across a range of industry sectors, including market-leading multinationals in technology, financial services and software.

Karen Clince

CEO - Tigers Childcare

Karen Clince is founder and chief executive of Tigers Childcare, one of Ireland’s largest childcare providers with 21 centres in Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Cork, and London.  

Karen has worked for almost 20 years in the childcare sector, starting in 2003 when she set up Ireland’s first after-school facility to cater for the growing number of working parents seeking flexible childminding options.   

Today Tigers Childcare employs over 300 people and caters for over 2100 children providing pre-school, full day care and after-school childcare.  

Karen is actively involved in advocating for high quality childcare services and state supports at government and industry level. She is chair if the Fingal Childcare Committee in Dublin and has regularly advised on policy direction for childcare and early years education.    

 

Gavin Mulcahy

Gavin Mulcahy is the founder and managing director of Get Let Letting Agents.  Established in 2005, Get Let is now trusted to manage over 725 properties throughout Dublin.  Get Let’s focus is on offering the best possible service to both landlords and tenants, it has become a brand synonymous with quality in its industry. 

Like all letting agents, Get Let has seen many of its landlords exit the market over the past year.  We look forward to hearing Gavin’s thoughts on what he believes would keep landlords in the market and also entice new investment.
