Landlords & Irish Tax

#TravelTipsUK #TaxTipsUK

Landlords in Ireland have to file their self-assessment Irish tax return by October 31st every year.

This applies to anyone who earns income from renting out a property or a room in your private residence and you still need to file a tax return even if you're not living in Ireland.

In your Ireland tax return you need to declare all your PAYE and rental income, or any other sources of income you might have.

You can use this tax return to write-off costs related to your rental income and to claim expenses that are deductable as part of your PAYE income.

Make sure you file your landlord tax return on time.
