Taxback.com supports Life Project Cambodia

17 November 2014

Taxback.com is delighted to be supporting ‘Life Project Cambodia’ through our global corporate social responsibility scheme. Life Project Cambodia is a non-governmental organisation which aims to improve the lives of children, young people, their families and the local community.

We got involved with their Student Sponsorship Program this month. The scheme provides the opportunity to sponsor a child that is a student at Rumdul House which is in Siem Reap and run by Life Project Cambodia.

Sponsorship goes towards education, healthcare, sanitation, medical supplies and a nutritious diet. For older students, sponsorship donations can make high school, vocational training and even university possible. The charity also works with the students’ families to ensure they remain an active part of their lives.

Taxback.com sponsors a 10-year-old child called Sokoun, who comes from a poor family. She’s a very bright little girl who dreams of becoming a teacher. Eileen Devereux from our Sydney Office spoke about the sponsorship recently. “Life Project Cambodia really is a fantastic charity. Vin and his team are doing amazing work at Rumdul House. We’re delighted to sponsor Sokoun and we’d love to see her dream of being a teacher become a reality some day.”

We wish Life Project Cambodia all the best and look forward to supporting them in the future.
