German tax refunds for married couples

The tax rates in Germany for married or jointly assessed couples are significantly lower than the €1,950 rates for single individuals. That’s why it’s a good idea to check if you’re entitled to file jointly with your spouse.
What’s more, EU or EEA residents can still apply jointly even if your spouse doesn’t live in Germany with you. The Taxback team supports countless couples each year in claiming their German tax refund. Even if you have filed previously, we can check if you’re due a larger refund!
