Taxback.com adopts a pig for Jack and Jill

31 March 2015

Taxback.com has been a proud supporter of Jack and Jill for a few years now so we were delighted to support their latest initiative – Pigs on Parade.

This creative fundraiser involved a collection of 100 porcelain pigs being decorated by local artists and celebrities, displayed around Dublin and then put up for auction.

There was an amazing display of creativity on show with all sorts of themes and characters represented. The pigs were auctioned at a very enjoyable event in the Doubletree by Hilton hotel. We had a great time and were delighted to snap up a pig for ourselves – the brightly coloured ‘Iron Pig.’

All proceedings went towards providing home nursing for families of children aged up to the age of four with brain damage so it was an excellent cause. Jack and Jill relies heavily on funding so initiatives like this are vital for the future of the charity.

Meet Iron Pig, the newest member of our team!
