Mēs joprojām strādājam pie satura tulkošanas latviešu valodā, un tāpēc tas parādās angļu valodā. Mēs atvainojamies par sagādātajām neērtībām un ceram, ka tulkota versija būs gatava jau drīz.

Taxback.com and Habitat for Humanity in Korea

17 November 2009

Taxback.com’s staff are working with Habitat for Humanity Korea to help less fortunate children in Seoul.

Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit housing organisation dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness.

This month our office in Korea volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Korea to help prepare Geumcheon Children’s Centre in Seoul for the winter. Taxback.com also donated €3000 to help further improve the centre.

Guemcheon is a small local community centre which provides shelter and education for 42 children who would otherwise be on the street.

Last week taxback.com’s staff spent the day repainting walls, replacing flooring and repairing doors in the centre’s classrooms and library to ensure the children at Guemcheon can study in a clean and safe environment.
Habitat for Humanity Assistant Manager Heeyun Kim said Habitat really appreciated taxback.com’s involvement in this project.

“It is so meaningful that taxback.com, a foreign company operating in Korea, has shown such an active interest in getting involved in and contributing to local communities – not just through financial support but having staff working together as well,” Kim said. “It was a great pleasure to work with taxback.com and we hope we can continue to help taxback.com’s community outreach programme. Thank you for your support!”

Taxback.com and Habitat for Humanity in Korea“It was a long day and lots of hard work but we’re so happy to have been able to work with Habitat for Humanity Korea to help the children of Guemcheon Children’s Centre,” taxback.com Customer Service Manager Jan Yoon said.

“All children have the right to a safe home and good education and we hope that our contribution will help make this a reality for these young people.”
